Eligibility Requirements

Educational Background:

1. Current-year graduating students or graduates from domestic or overseas universities/colleges who have obtained a master’s degree.

2. Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements stipulated in Article 8 of the “Standards for Recognition of Equivalent Educational Qualifications for University Admission” (must submit a work equivalent to a master’s thesis. The work should be mailed together with the department-required review materials at the time of application. Eligibility will be granted after verification by the department/institute).

Work Experience Requirement for In-Service Applicants:

 Applicants applying as in-service students must be currently employed and have accumulated at least five (5) years of work experience (including both previous and current employment).

 Information Management Track: 6 slots (regular/in-service); 1 additional slot for new immigrants

Selection Method

 Document Review (Initial Screening) Weight: 50%

 Interview (Second Screening) Weight: 50%

※ A number of applicants will be invited to the second screening (interview) based on the ranking of initial screening (document review) scores.

Required Documents

 1. One (1) copy of a master’s thesis (current-year graduates may submit a thesis outline or draft), published works, or other supporting materials beneficial for review.

 2. One (1) copy of a personal résumé/CV and a statement of prospective research directions.

 3. One (1) original official transcript from the undergraduate program and one (1) original official transcript from the master’s program.

 4. Three (3) letters of recommendation.

 ※ Submitted review materials will not be returned.

Newly admitted students must pass at least one of the following English proficiency tests and hold valid proof in order to graduate:

[1] TOEFL ITP: 550 or above; or TOEFL iBT: 80 or above.

[2] GEPT: High-Intermediate (First Stage) or above.

[3] TOEIC: 750 or above.

[4] IELTS: Band 6.0 or above.

[5] FLPT (English): 195 or above (sum of three written test sections).

[6] BULATS: ALTE Level 3.

[7] Cambridge Main Suite: First Certificate in English (FCE).
