【Introduction】

With the development of technology in the field of data science and artificial intelligence, big data analysis and data mining are becoming one of the necessary skills for data scientists. In view of this, the National Chung Cheng University Information Management Institute and Medical Information Management Institute cooperates with SAS for applied data analysis SAS Academic Specialization (SAS Academic Specialization) to lay the foundation for students to apply big data analysis and data mining across fields.

At present, the SAS academic qualification certification provided by our institute is divided into two levels:

  1. The name of Level 1 (Tier 1) is [SAS Academic Specialization in Applied Big Data Analytics] (SAS Academic Specialization in Applied Big Data Analytics), and its purpose is to provide students with the ability of big data analysis and data mining.
  2. Level 2 (Tier 2) is named [Advanced Applied Data Analysis] (SAS Academic Specialization in Applied Big Data and Statistics Analytics), and its purpose is to deepen students' ability in big data analysis, data mining, and statistical analysis.

Students who meet the application qualifications will be jointly issued a certificate and digital badge by the National Chung Cheng University Institute of Information Management and Medical Information Management Institute and SAS, which proves that the students have a certain level of SAS skills. Students can share the certificate and digital badge on their personal social media. Group platform or job bank database, let yourself win at the starting point.   • Level 2 (Tier 2) is named [Advanced Applied Data Analysis] (SAS Academic Specialization in Applied Big Data and Statistics Analytics), and those who have completed the following courses 1 to 3 and achieved a score of 70 or above:

Course 1: Analysis and application of healthcare data (Analysis and application of healthcare data), course number: 5306231, 5555078

Course 2: Data Mining Applications in Healthcare (Data Mining Applications in Healthcare), course number: 5307147, 5555075

Course 3:Study on Applications of Statistical Analysis (Study on Applications of Statistical Analysis), course number: 5555061, 5306210

【Application steps】

  1. Please fill in the "Application Form for SAS Academic Qualification Certification of National Chung Cheng University Institute of Information Management and Institute of Medical Information Management"
  2. Attach two documents: a photocopy of student ID card (or proof of schooling) and original transcripts of previous years (transcripts that cannot be searched on the webpage)
